Normally, my days are spent chasing (no, literally, chasing) monkeys up and down cliff faces. Caribbean weather being what it is, though, we had an unpredictably rainy day today, and had to call it quits early. I usually have a short run and do some body weight exercises when I get back from work, but today, since my at-work workout was cut short by rain I decided to have a bit more fun with my daily run. I haven’t used Zombies, Run for quite a while, because I generally go for more of a precision-based approach when I run. Today, though, I decided to dust it off, and give it another try. After about three miles, I did have a little more respect for Zombies, Run. While you sacrifice some of the more advanced features of MapMyRun and Run Keeper Pro, the one thing you’ll get more of from Zombies, Run is entertainment, and thus, distraction. Sometimes, a bit of distraction is all you need to keep your workout interesting, and that was the case for me today.
