This app claims to have it all, with the famous extreme weight loss coach Jillian Michaels personally training you at the forefront. If this sounds unrealistic for a free app with a lot of downloads, that’s because it is.
The app begins by having you create an account. After filling out all of your information, you’ll probably expect to have Jillian helping you design an exercise and nutrition routine, motivating you along the way like she does on TV. Unfortunately, until you have completed these steps, it isn’t clear that while the initial download is free, it only unlocks 20 exercise videos. For $4.99/month you can access more of what you expected: A fitness planner, online community for 24/7 support, and over 150 exercises.
The app isn’t all bad – after filling out the profile and stating I was looking for the “hardcore” workout plan, I was able to unlock exercises that I am familiar with. The ones I could see are great for burning fat and building strength at the same time. If you are looking for new exercises to incorporate into a fitness routine or are willing to spend $4.99/month for a more inclusive plan, this app could be beneficial for you.
